Earth Day!

Celebrate Earth Day with the Comm Club!

Tomorrow, Wednesday April 22, Washington Place will be full of food, fun and live music from 10am-2pm, rain or shine.
The CommClub will be raffling off IMAX movie tickets and green-friendly notebooks among other things.

Campus Movie Fest Finale!
Hey CommClubbers !
Come out this Tuesday, April 14, to the Campus Movie Fest FINALE. Cantor, 8pm is where it's at.
And if you'd like to help out with the event, please e-mail Aaron at ama421@nyu.edu. We really need some students from the CommClub who are willing to help with set up around 5 or 6 pm. T-shirts for those who contribute!

Comm Club Goes to the Movies!
The last few months have been very exciting for the Comm Club! We
have had many successful events that have been inspiring, educational
and fun for everyone. Two of these events were going to the movies as
a club.
In March a group of us went to see Waltz with Bashir the Israeli film
that one a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Academy Award. The
film was extremely creative with its unique animation and telling of
an Israeli's memories from war.

This event was co-sponsored by MASA Israel Journey, an organization
that provides grant-money for going on long-term Israel programs

In April (last weekend!) a group of us went to see Adventureland
starring Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart and Ryan Reynolds. We
highly recommend everyone see this romantic comedy that finds a great
way to depict what many college grads go through as they try to
figure out how to support themselves and deal with their lives in the
"real world." Our own Caitlin Pirraglia was in a commercial for the

Martha Stewart Living Magazine Tour with Comm Club!
We have arranged an exclusive tour at Martha Stewart Living Magazine on Monday, April 27th from 11am-12:30pm. We are going to be meeting with members from the Editorial, Advertising and HR staff teams!
We are going to get a chance to learn how the magazine runs in addition to hearing exclusive information about their summer internship program. Our treasurer's mom is a recipe tester for the magazine (and former PR executive) who was nice enough to set this up, so for all you food lovers, we will get a chance to see how the kitchen at a professional company works (and maybe even eat some good food!).
