You've come to the brand new NYU Steinhardt Communications Club Blog!
Since our current website is way out of date, we thought we would crate a blog, something that is much easier to keep current and much more interactive. We hope that you will find this blog informative and will also feel free to give us advice and feedback!
We had our first E-Board planning meeting last Thursday, September 11, on the third floor of Pless Hall. We designated responsibilities for the year (or at least the semester), and appointed new positions. Joining Co-Presidents, Aaron Azpiazu and Cherish Dacon, were Natan Edelsburg as Treasurer, Rachel Nevers as Secretary, Caitlin Pirraglia and Felicia Shulman as Co-Event Chairs, and Olivia Smith as Publicist. We still encourage anyone interested in planning events to attend our e-board meetings in the future, and will keep the details of those meetings posted on both this blog and on our facebook.
We are in the midst of planning our first event, a welcome back party with free food! This event will serve as an introduction to our club, as well as our department, and will get everyone excited for the upcoming year!
We also have some TV show tapings and tours, movie nights, Campus Movie Fest, and museum visits in the works. Check back soon for details, and feel free to fill out the poll or leave a comment to let us know your ideas and suggestions!
